Essential Sanding Bundle with 320, 600 and 800 grit discs and two five-inch pads

PREP THE METAL. BUILD THE SHINE.

A better finish starts before the buffing wheel

Bring the key stages of metal-polishing prep together: Savage Ceramic for initial sanding, White Aluminum Oxide for finer refinement, and two pads to support your setup.

Three grits, one organized kit

320, 600 and 800 grit discs for resurfacing and refining suitable metal surfaces.

Made for polishing preparation

Prepare wheels, tanks and other compatible bare metal components before moving to compounds and buffing wheels.

WHAT'S IN THE BUNDLE

Five essentials for your sanding setup

01

320 grit

Savage Ceramic discs

One box of 5-inch sanding discs for the initial sanding stage when the surface calls for it.

02

600 grit

White Aluminum Oxide discs

One box of 5-inch sanding discs for finer surface refinement.

03

800 grit

White Aluminum Oxide discs

One box of 5-inch sanding discs for additional refinement before polishing.

04

Interface pad

One 5-inch pad

A cushioning layer for a compatible hook-and-loop sanding setup.

05

Semi-flex pad

One 5-inch backing pad

For a compatible rotary sanding setup. Verify the spindle and speed rating before use.

VISUAL GRIT GUIDE

Correct. Refine. Prepare to polish.

The included grits mark three stages of preparation. Let the condition of the metal determine the full sequence.

320GRIT

Initial sanding

Savage Ceramic

Test first. Use when this grit is appropriate for the defects you need to remove.
600GRIT

Finer refinement

White Aluminum Oxide

Reduce the preceding sanding pattern with the appropriate intermediate steps.
800GRIT

Final refinement

White Aluminum Oxide

Refine to a uniform surface before a suitable compound and buffing wheel.

Included grits are not a mandatory jump sequence. Do not move from 320 directly to 600 if the previous scratches remain. Add intermediate grits as needed; additional grits are sold separately.

FROM SURFACE PREP TO SHINE

Work the surface, then step finer

  1. 1Clean + inspect

Start with clean metal and assess the surface condition.

  2. 2Test a small area

Choose the least aggressive grit that corrects the defect.

  3. 3Refine evenly

Remove the previous scratch pattern before advancing.

  4. 4Move to polishing

Use the appropriate compound and wheel for the metal.

MATCH YOUR EQUIPMENT

Two pads. Choose the right setup.

Orbital sanding

Use 5-inch discs with a compatible hook-and-loop orbital sander. The interface pad provides a cushioning layer between a compatible backing plate and the disc.

Rotary sanding

The semi-flex backing pad is intended for a compatible rotary tool. Confirm the mounting thread, disc attachment and maximum operating speed for every component.

Sander, rotary tool, polishing compounds and buffing wheels are not included. Follow the tool, pad and abrasive manufacturers' instructions. Use suitable eye, hearing and respiratory protection for metal dust.

ESSENTIAL SANDING BUNDLE FAQ

Know what you need before you start

What is included?

One box each of 5-inch 320 grit Savage Ceramic, 600 grit White Aluminum Oxide and 800 grit White Aluminum Oxide sanding discs, plus one 5-inch interface pad and one 5-inch semi-flex backing pad.

Does sanding produce the final shine?

Sanding prepares and refines the surface. A suitable polishing compound and buffing wheel provide the subsequent polishing stages.

Is this enough for every restoration?

The starting grit and intermediate steps depend on the metal and damage. Deep defects may need additional abrasives. Test first and remove each sanding pattern before progressing.

Where can I use it?

For preparation of suitable bare metal components on big rigs, marine projects and general metal restoration. Confirm that the surface is suitable for sanding; sanding removes material and can damage coatings or plating.
