Renegade 3-Step Multi-Metal Polishing Kit
Renegade's 3-Step Multi-Metal Polishing Kit combines some of our newest and most innovative buffing wheels and compounds to provide users with a complete 3-Step polishing process that provides a high-level mirror shine for both aluminum and stainless steel.
The 3-Step Multi-Metal Polishing Kit is made up of a Combination Red-Pink Airway Buffing Wheel, a Combination Purple-Yellow Airway Buffing Wheel, a Single-Stitch Flannel Airway Buffing Wheel, a Junior Wild Cherry Cutting Compound Bar, a Junior True Green SS-311 Coloring Compound Bar, and Junior Competition Purple Finishing Compound Bar. The kit also comes with a set of Safety Flanges for High Speed Polishing to help secure and mount the buffing wheels to your machine and a Single-Handle Buffing Wheel Rake to prime your buff and help to clean off built-up compound.

How to Use the 3-Step Multi-Metal Polishing Kit:

NOTE: Safety flanges should always be used when mounting a buffing wheel, and the buffing wheel rake should be used to prime the buffing wheel to accept compound and to free the buffing wheel of build-up when necessary.
- Mount the Combination Red-Pink Airway Buffing Wheel onto your machine for the first step. Pair the Combination Red-Pink Airway Buffing Wheel with the Junior Wild Cherry Cutting Compound Bar for your cut stage and run the combination at 3,500 RPMs (on both aluminum and stainless steel).
- For the second "cutting" stage, pair the Combination Purple-Yellow Airway Buffing Wheel with the Junior True Green SS-311 Coloring Compound Bar. Use this combination to refine the first step and add luster to your project surface. This step should be done at 2,600 RPMs (on both aluminum and stainless steel.
- For the third "final polish" step, employ the Single-Stitch Flannel Airway Buffing Wheel and pair it with the Junior Competition Purple Finishing Compound Bar to gain a mirror-like shine on your project. When working with stainless steel, this step should be done at 1,800 RPMs, while aluminum projects should be done at 1,400 RPMs.
